Looking for Simple Advice

Boston Consulting is currently completing a survey of 12,000 women in 22 countries about their families’ finances. What they’ve determined so far is interesting.

More than 80% of women do not think they are saving enough for retirement, and nearly half say they’re dissatisfied with investment providers, banking services and insurance providers. The survey states that women now own or co-own 40% of the businesses in the United States, and this number is growing at twice the rate of businesses in general. It also found that 77% of respondents manage their households, including most finances, and are under stress because of it.

There are more than 1 billion women in the workforce worldwide who earn $9.8 trillion annually, and this will increase by 50% in the next few years, according to the survey. Based on this information, the professional agent and adviser should be reaching out to working women now to provide them with the advice and guidance they need and desire. If you are one of the women in these statistics, go to LIFE’s Agent Locator to find an agent or adviser who can help you.
