President of Triumvirate, Inc. t/a Forecast Strategic Advisors, Baltimore, Md. since 1985, Clarke Langrall, Jr., CEPA has been providing insurance and financial planning professional services since 1975.
One of only 132 Certified Exit Planning Advisors in the U.S. , Langrall assists business owners in exit planning, and regularly gives presentations on the topic to trade associations, business owner groups, and industry meetings. A short list of executive briefings he has recently conducted both nationally and regionally includes Dupont National Champion Jobbers, National Association of Repographers, Delaware Association of Surveyors, Smart CEO, Maryland Business Council, Greater Baltimore Technology Council, Women President’s Organization, Maryland Contractors Association, Association of Advanced Life Underwriters, The Forum 400, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the National Security Agency.
Langrall has also authored numerous articles on owner exit planning and provides a bimonthly newsletter titled Exit Planning Review. His other publications include A Life Underwriter’s Guide to the Federal Civil Service Market (1981) and the preface to the book How to Run Your Business So You Can Leave It in Style by John H. Brown Esq.
A founder and member of the Board of Directors of National Partners Group; an agent-owned reinsurance holding company, Langrall is also the founder and director of ASCBE (Association of Small Closely Held Business Enterprises), a non-profit business owner’s trade association. Additional entrepreneurial activities include founding and running an employee leasing company, Employers Plus, Inc. in 1997.
Since 1978, Langrall has been a life and qualifying member of The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and has been a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) for over 34 years. A member of the Forum 400 since 1987 – a group representing the top 350 estate planning and executive compensation planners in the U.S. – Langrall also served as president of the organization.
In 2007, Langrall received the “Heartbeat of America” award on the television show by the same name hosted by TV personality William Shatner. He was interviewed about business owner exit planning and the importance of seeking advice from an experienced professional as part of the preparation process.
Langrall’s non-profit activity includes serving as board member of the University of Baltimore School of Entrepreneurship and a 20-year board and finance committee participation with Port Discovery, The Baltimore Children’s Museum.
