Peter C. Browne, LUTCF is the co-founder and president of Price, Raffel & Browne, Inc., New York, N.Y. He had previously been employed as an agent and then as manager at Union Central Life in New York for more than 20 years.

A board member of the LIFE Foundation, Browne is currently treasurer and trustee of the Board of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He has served as president of the 4,500 member New York State Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NYSAIFA) and of its New York City chapter. Browne has also served as Past Trustee of the National Board of the Life Underwriters Training Council (LUTC), Past Trustee of the National General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA) and past president of its N.Y.C. Chapter. He was also the charter participant in GAMA’s Legacy of Learning Series.

A Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow, Browne served as LUTC chairman, moderator and on the National Board of Trustees. He is a current board member and vice chairman of The American College Foundation, and life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and has been a member of the Top of the Table for 25 consecutive years.

Browne was the recipient of GAMA’s National Management Award, Charter, Life Continuing Recipient and Master Agency Builder Award. His other awards include the Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) 1998 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year Award, E. Philip Saunders College of Business (RIT) Hall of Fame Award, Union Central’s Hall of Fame and Lester A. Rosen Humanitarian and Achievement Award. An active member in his community, he has served as past president of the board of trustees at Bedford Presbyterian Church, president of the board of trustees at King & Low-Heywood Thomas School, board member of Via Health of Wayne Foundation, and chairman of Ducks Unlimited, Inc. At RIT, he served as chairman of the Council on the College of Business Advisory Board and member of RIT’s President’s Roundtable.

Browne graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with an A.A.S. degree. He and his wife Mibb live in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y. and have two daughters and two grandchildren.
