National awareness campaigns

Life Happens runs three national awareness campaigns each year, including Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM), which many consider to be one of the best things the life insurance industry does. Spokesperson Danica Patrick's Public Service Announcement has generated over 1 billion media impressions in the last three years alone. The LIAM campaign helps educate consumers and gives the industry an exciting rallying point each September.

Our consumer education programs use the power of storytelling to motivate consumers to take action. Real Life Stories show how insurance helped a family or business in their time of great financial need, while Life Lessons shows what can happen when there is little or no life insurance in place.

Life Happens consistently creates impactful and award-winning content that consumers see and the industry uses. We've garnered awards and nominations from the Webby Awards, Best in Biz Awards, Web Awards, The Telly Awards and others.

Life Happens is especially known for our use of cutting-edge technology. From augmented reality and video-screen brochures to social media and gamification, we continue to find unique ways to communicate with consumers and deliver our resources to the industry.

Our content delivery and marketing system, Life Happens Pro, is evidence of our efforts. It provides the industry with a state-of-the-art digital service where they can brand, personalize and distribute insurance marketing materials to consumers.

One of the first in the industry to enter the social-media space, Life Happens continues to increase our presence and expertise. Several posts have gone viral over the years, reaching millions of people. Over 1 million minutes of Life Happens video content was watched through our social channels last year and our average cost per engagement is down to an unheard of one-third of a cent.
